Guidance sessions

When you’re thinking about your retirement choices, you might find it helpful to take some retirement guidance.

Cummins will pay for you to have one general guidance session, provided by Isio Wealth Planning, which you can take up at any time from the age of 50.

The session will cover all your options, including buying an annuity, moving into flexible income drawdown or taking cash.

If you want any further guidance sessions, or detailed financial advice, which includes recommendations about what you should do and help to research the market to find a suitable annuity or drawdown provider, this would be at your own expense.

Financial advice

If you prefer, you can use your own financial adviser, but this will be at your own expense. Make sure you use a certified adviser who’s specifically qualified to give advice about pensions. You can find a retirement adviser on MoneyHelper.

Retirement workshops

If you are 50 or over, come along to one of our retirement workshops which are held on request at your local site. We look at a range of retirement topics to help you plan for your retirement, from understanding your income needs to budget planning, investments and tax. We also look at life after work and how you might want to spend your time.

Also look out for the drop-in sessions where you can book a short one to one appointment with specialists from the Cummins Total Rewards team.
